PREVIEW

This should be a good match up to start the day off. Cutters coming off a tough loss to the snipers and KatManDu final with a bench scored some goals to get their 1st win of the season. Stonecutters always a tough team to face and don't usually lose back to back games. They are looking to be a big part of the Race of the top 2 or 3 spots by the players they added to their roster. KatManDu is in a tranistion got a good young goalie and added a couple of players and got Todd Hyndshaw back this year which was desperately needed. Mike Klein has stepped up this year and has played well for Kat. KatManDu will need to have a big game and no let down against a team that always comes out to play.

GAME RECAP

Stonecutters coming off a tough loss last week and KatManDu with a big win. One team looking to rebound the other trying to get wins. With just 2:30 into the game Kat started quickly to take a 1-0 lead, but after 1 period of play we were tied. The 2nd period when it seemed to fall apart for KatManDu giving up 3 goals to , John Palentine, Mike Lederhandler and Chris Cresenzo giving them a 4-1 lead. Palentine had 2 goals and 2 assists in the game, and score 3 of those points on the 1st 3 goals for his team. Cutters go onto win 7-1 and look to face Wildflowers next week while KatManDu have another tough game against the Snipers.

Preview/Recap

PREVIEW

This will be a big game for Ram Law they are 2-3 and lost back to back games, they usually do not lose too many back to back games soon this will be a big test for Ram Law against an the other defeated team the Snipers. Ram Law has had trounle scoring and Snipers this year have only given up 5 goals in 5 games so Ram Law will have to make them count without giving up alot Another tough test for Mike Dipilla, Snipers showing they have some offense and especially the Grivnocum line has been tough to contend with.

RECAP

Ram Law finding themselves in uncharter waters on a 3 game skid and facing a team that has been on a roll and not loss yet. Ram Law does not have a history of scoring alot of goals, there game is play it tight and outlast their opponent in the end. Ram Law has face alot of shots this year and with the short bench they are giving up more goals they in the past. This game started out no different with the Snipers jumping out to a 2-0 lead after 1 and added 1 in the 3rd for a 3-0 lead. But the resilencency of Ram Law cut it to a 1 goal game in the 2nd with Charlie Ahr feeding Britt Reid and Joe Keane for a couple of goals. But that is as close as they got and Snipers move to 6-0 and win 6-2. Ram Law with their record now 2-4 face Papp's Next week, this should make for a very good game. Snipers face KatManDu, will this be a trap game for the Snipers?

Preview/Recap

PREVIEW

Enterprise slowly showing some improvement each week, especially scoring a couple goals on Marty's Place. The Lubrano brothers are showing some promise fo this Enterprise Team scoring both of their goals last week. Wildflowers who are underacheiving and got snake bit last week losing a tough game to Papp's. But do not underestimate this Wildflowers too they have talented players on this team and once they can get Nicky Creo and Sandy Heller in a Rythm to go along with Jon Kuncker they will start turning those tough loses to wins. Can enterprise capaitalize on a Wildflower team that has lost 3 in a row or does Wildflower use this game to start to turn their season around?

RECAP

This was a much needed game for Wildflowers. A team that has been in the mixed for the last few years have gone through some changes especially in goal-tending. Mike Milewski replacing a CJSHA Hall of Famer goalie in Larry "Hippier" Pavelchek.  Mike has played well, but as a whole Wildflowers still need to get some wins together, they have been reeling and standing at 1-4. The emergence of Jon Kuncker has helped and if they can get a couple of other pieces rolling especially Nick Creo and Sandy Heller the will be a force. Enterprise a team that was thrown together at the beginning of the year and asked to play together are still in the process of learning each other and the other teams in the league.  Jon Kuncker and brother Mark had a big day combining for 5 goals and 3 assists. Sandy Heller added a goal and 2 assists, hopefully this will jump start his year. Wildflowers goes on to win 10-3 and a much needed win for them. For Enterprise despite the score they are showing progress and kept pressing despite being down, scoring 2 goals in the 3rd period and Mike Lubrano starting to shine as a go to guy for Enterprise with 2 goals in the game and has 3 on the year.

Preview/Recap

PREVIEW

Papp's and Marty's will be a interesting Match up. Marty's with only 1 loss this season will keep focus and look to take another step forward to keep pace with Savoy's and Snipers by not losing this game. Papp's a team that can be very underrated. After this past week getting a good win over Wildflowers they will look to upset Marty's and try to add a notch to their belt. Marty's will come out to make sure that doesn't happen.

GAME RECAP

This was a tough outing for Papp's starting the day off 3-2 and looking to continue to move forward, but facing an always tough team with alot of offense Marty's never an easy team to play. It makes it that much harder without your starting goaltender in Jim Garbe and Captain Joe Tkaczuk had to step in.  Marty's Jimmy Kiernen had a big day with 4 goals and an assist. Which gave them more than enough to win the game 8-2. Other noteables was Mike Carr with 2 goals and 2 assists and Thomas Binetti with 1 goal 3 assists in the game. John Dolci who made his Papp's deput, after being waived from Wildflowers scored a goal in the game. Marty's at 5-1 go on to face Killarney's next week while Papp's at 3-3 will face a 2-4 desperate Ram Law team needing a win.

Preview/Recap

 PREVIEW

This is probably the last team Killarney's wanted to face after last week loosing to KatManDu. When a team needs to try to fix things and come back strong after a loss, facing the defending champions is not a cure. They will need their "A" game and some way to slow down Jay Astbury who has been on a roll scoring 17 points in 5 games.  Savoy's looking to continue their unbeaten record after a win last week.

GAME RECAP

Facing the defending champs is tough and Killarney's had the privilege of facing them in the last game of the day.  Savoy's proves time and time again they are a force to deal with and no signs of slowing down. Savoy's takes a 2-0 lead after 1, but the second period was were it imploded for Killarney's yielding 6 goals. Scott Bertoli scores a Hat Trick and adds an assist and Jay Astbury tallies for 1 goal and 3 assists. They go on to win 10-0 with Ryan Burger earning the shut-out.

What is shocking not that they are 6-0 but I believe they still have not had their whole team together for 1 game yet this year. I am sure they will be out for week 8 :). But as far as next week Killarney's at 1-5 have to face a 5-1 Marty's Place and Enterprise will have to deal with the defending Champions.
